VERY RARE
First release, 1968 crossover pressing between first The Beatles - The Beatles, The Beatles - The Beatles and second The Beatles - The Beatles issue, with top opening G & L Gatefold Sleeve, Black Inners, Poster (not included) & 4 Colour Prints, Dark Green Label, with ? & "Sold In The UK...." Text. Numbered Edition. This was released without the text 'An E.M.I. Recording' on Side 1 and 2, but with the text 'An E.M.I. Recording' on Side 3 and 4. K.T. Tax code embossed on label Side 4

The album cover laminate is intact but has some yellowing and vinyl shows signs of its age and is by no means perfect. Although it has significant wear and tear it is still playable and due to its rarity and the fact that it includes the 4 photos and black inner sleeves, it is a desirable addition to a Beatles fan's collection. The photos alone are on sale for silly prices elsewhere on ebay. VINYL GRADING- GOOD (see Grading Criteria below)
Visual-GOOD+. Each side has lots of very fine surface scratches Side 1. A couple of scuff marks. Side 2. A couple of deeper scratches visible but not detectable with finger nail. Side 3. Two light scratches T1. Scuff T2. Side 4. One light scratch T1 Centre labels in VG+ condition. K.T. stamp Side 4.
Acoustically- OVERALL- GOOD . All sides play through without sticking. There is lots of surface noise, ticks, clicks and pops and signs that it has been well played - mostly noticeable in quieter passages or on fade in out between tracks. Side 1. Signs of some groove wear with ticks and clicks throughout. Side 2. Signs of some groove wear ticks and clicks throughout. I noticed a very brief jump end T1. also at beginning T5. Side 3. Signs of some groove wear ticks and clicks throughout. I detected a very minor jump at start T2. Side 4. Some groove wear crackles ticks and clicks throughout.
SLEEVE GOOD OVERALL. Top opening Garrod and Lofthouse laminated sleeve. Laminate in good condition with minor creasing and yellowing. Some wear visible to edge and spine. Front cover has low number stamp (0099183) 'The Beatles' embossed on front has been highlighted with blue ink. 4 photos present in very good + condition with no pin holes. Poster is MISSING 2 black paper inner sleeves (one slightly damaged with tear to centre)

Grading Criteria
Very Good (VG) Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Generally worth 10-15% of the Near Mint value. A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without sticking. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.
