Description
The Beatles "Something New" extremely uber-rare 1965 Parlophone CPCS-101, British 'export' copy - amazingly comes with both disc variations (1 Garrod & Lofthouse jacket in solid VG+ condition, having no seam-splits or major issues - see photos), please know both discs have a multitude of scratches on both sides and would only grade "G", although none are really feelable and all four sides will probably play through (not play-graded) - there are no gouges; the 1st disc variation is the rare 'misprint' label with both the "Sold in U.K. text" above the spindle hole AND the 'KT' tax stamp on Side 1 (readable when tilted to the 9:00 position, and sometimes referred to as a holy grail of Beatles' collecting); the 2nd one is the normal or correct label variation without the "Sold in U.K. text" but having the 'KT' tax stamp on Side 1. Again, the vinyl in this auction is only Fair to Good, however to have a nice cover with BOTH label variation records (and the labels are actually quite nice) is pretty cool, priced to go. U.S. buyer to pay $4.00 media mail (priority available upon request). International buyer please inquire for shipping costs. Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer. International buyer please inquire for shipping costs which may include insurance and/or registered mail.
