VG+ sound quality (Playtested 2nd July 2007)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Very Good (Looks quite well played with quite a number of light superficial hairline surface marks covering the record but they are not overpowering, there is also some slight paper scuffing where the record has been put in and out of the inner sleeve but this does not affect playback in any way, there are also 4 or 5 more feelable light scratches/marks on the record but these do not  affect playback in anyway, there a quite a lot of spindle marks on the label which indicates numerous plays but the labels have no rips or tears on them, there is just slight wear around the spindle holes but nothing serious, the labels do not have any writing on them)

Album Cover Grade: Excellent (no major creasing to the front corners apart from a slight corner crease on the bottom right, no major creasing to the rear corners apart from a slight corner crease on the bottom left rear, no serious spine splits, a still clearly legible spine, no serious rips or tears in the sleeve, no top or bottom edge splits, minimal corner rubbing, only slight ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, no serious laminate lifting or laminate peeling, there is no pen marks/writing on the sleeve either, overall a clean and decent sleeve)

Record Collector 2008 Price Guide Book Price: £15 Mint

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so. Please be confident when buying from me as i have many positive feedback comments left for me and I have been trading on ebay for over 3 years. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Please also click on 'View seller's other items' on the right hand side of the page to see what i have on offer. All the pictures you see in the listings are taken with my own digital camera and my scanner. They will be 100% representative of what you will be purchasing from me. Good Luck !

Extra Notes : This pressing of this LP is supposed to come with a cut out insert but it is not present with this copy on sale

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
