Description
I am selling a number of my late Husbands records over the coming months and will only be listing 1 at a time, mainly because i need to understand what they are! I am aware of the rare record guide and have used this for my grading, I have decided due to my lack of knowledge grade cautiously. I cannot say how the play unfortunately as I no longer have a record player. The collection has Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper and many others.
This record is The Beatles Sgt Peppers PMC 7027 Black & Silver 1 Box EMI label. I understand that Mono pressings on this type label are hard to find, so are quite collectible.
Mono Cover is in VG+ condition. The laminate is very glossy with a few light bubbling, the spine is very straight and fully legible. Labels are free of any writing or major defect, some spindle marks but look very nice (see pictures) VG+ Vinyl side 1 has a 2 -3 visible scratches that may effect play as they are feel-able but not really deep. Please see the photo's. Side 2 is really nice no scratches just some very light lines. Side 1 I would grade visually as VG , side 2 EX. The vinyl is still very glossy. There is no card insert but not sure if this release come with it? the inner sleeve is plain white which has a patent number, I think its correct but not 100% sure.
I forgot to photograph it but there is a Apple Records advert leaflet that was inside the sleeve. Its in colour and folded which I think was the way in came? it is in very nice condition but has a very thin edge crease which is runs down the left hand side. I can photo if need be.
I can post internationally but please check cost with me before bidding as the cost I have quoted for international posting maybe incorrect as they vary from country to country. Also with regards international I will only send signed for. I can offer various options for UK but have quoted the cheapest available.
