1969 UK 2nd PRESS *MONO* LP
**WITHOUT 'SOLD IN UK..' TEXT**
This final incarnation of the UK yellow and black Parlophone label design dates from late 1969 and was available for just a few months before the switch to the black and silver 'One EMI Box' design. This late variant omits the 'Sold in U.K...' label text which was removed from all EMI product in August 1969.
This very rare 1969 second mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label PMC 7027
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but still carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated, gatefold flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover
Complete with original white inner (VG) & cut-outs (NM).

CONDITION
DiscLabels: EXCELLENT MINUS
Visual & Audio: EXCELLENT
Superb clean and bright surfaces displaying just a few wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible only under intense direct light.
There is one tiny 2mm scratch at beginning of 'Within Without You' which softly 'ticks' for a few revs but no other marks are visible.
All tracks play loud and clear with no crackle, groovewear/loud passage distortion, jumps or repeats.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS
A bright and clean front panel displaying some corner bruising and light wear to the opening edge.
The inside gatefold shows no writing or marking and the internal flipbacks are intact.
The rear panel is bright with just a few small laminate creases but no other marks or writing.
The spine laminate is fully intact and all wording is readable. All seams are strong and unsplit.
