Description

 This is a still sealed copy of The Early Beatles Capitol ST 2309.  Fortunately or unfortunately it has a punch hole in it, signifying some promotional purpose of this copy perhaps?  This allows you to see the inner sleeve.  The sleeve is not colored which would make it a first pressing, but a plain white sleeve.  However, according to the Perry Cox book this does not mean that it can't be a first pressing.  The Cox book states that some first issues of this album have the "THIS RECORD SHOULD BE PLAYED ONLY WITH A STEREO CARTRIDGE AND NEEDLE TO AVOID DAMAGE," quote which this copy has.  So there is a chance this is a first pressing.  Whatever it is, it is an early pressing, as my personal Apple label version in a Capitol sleeve does not have this quote.  There are 2 factory shrink air holes visible on the front cover.  The front bottom right corner has a slight bend.  Otherwise this thing is near perfection.  Obviously there will be no returns if you open it, but there should be no dissatisfaction.  Please only bid if you intend to pay.
