Description

A 1st press of 'Rubber Soul' - the loud cut - on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg) In very nice condition despite having seen a moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERY GOOD level of playback. The audio comes across with good clarity, but interference is audible in many places. 'Michelle' does exhibit a bit or crackle, but by and large most tracks play fine with some static in places. Not suitable for a hifi purist, but more than playable for the average Beatles fan. It represents a very nice rendition of this classic album and will suit someone trying to get the Loud Cut without shelling out a fortune. Priced down according to condition.
Cover (Ex-) Someone has taken great care of this LP down the years. A lovely shiny front cover with very little creasing at all. The rear has managed to escape the much of the ageing that so often afflicts these covers. The spine is 100% intact. Please note there is a small signature on the rear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No problems. No splits.
