Description

A 2nd press of Rubber Soul on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 4/4. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover. Also included is the original white patent nos inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Super transparency and practically no background at all. The test track is always 'Michelle' - CLEAN...very little at all in the background just nice and clean. Interference is minimal. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Very very nice...
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. A lovely shiny unaged front cover with perhaps a couple of tiny creases. The rear, often the let-down, is only exhibiting some light ageing toward the extremities. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+)  Bit of ageing. One tiny side split.
