XEX 579-1 / 580-1 ‘loud cut’

The record surface is fairly bright with some visible light marks / hairlines and light scuffs. Plays OK, no jumps or sticks etc although there is some background crackle audible in between tracks and here and there in quieter tracks (especially on “Michelle”). It might improve if given a machine clean. There is a tiny 5mm scratch on “in my life” that generates 7 or 8 clicks but apart from that no other feelable scratches. Overall it’s a good listen but not for the audiophile.

The G+L cover has a fully legible spine, some general wear especially on the opening, some light staining on rear. No splits, no tears, no writing

Original emitex inner has side splits, one has been taped.

Will be posted with stiffening in a record mailer

Played on a project turntable
