Description

A very special item!

The record is in very tidy nick indeed. Visually some surface marks but nothing remotely significant with a deep, black pleasingly glossy sheen.
On the play test the sound is really lovely, clear and bright throughout from start to end. No skips, sticks or jumps and very little even by way of crackle and pop for such an old record.

The labels show some inevitable wear but it's nothing too bothersome. And the really cool thing is that whilst side 1 has times new roman font, side 2 has sans serif! It's the only one like this I've ever seen and I think it's a particular rarity. KT tax code on side 2.

Original emitex inner in fairly tidy shape albeit with a couple of tidy repairs with inconspicuous acid free tape.

Sleeve is lovely, clean and tidy with a strong and readable spine. Very slightly edge worn, dog eared & scuffed on the back but the pictures tell a thousand words. Garrod and Lofthouse, Patents Pending. Has generally aged very well indeed.

All told this is a real gem that I would *not* be letting go of if I didn't already have a loud cut copy. To find a loud cut in decent nick is a rarity, but factor in the label anomaly & you've got a very collectable record indeed. In fact it's the only one on offer on eBay I can see - & importantly I've given it an affordable starting price.

I also have a stereo first pressing which I haven't got around to listing but let me know if you're interested in that - I could throw that in too for the right price.

All of which is as honest and accurate as I can tell you but please feel free to ask any further questions.

I post promptly and securely second class to keep your costs down and I make no money on postage.

Good luck and happy bidding!
