Description

An original 1st stero press of RS on UK Parlophone from 1965. Matrix 2/2 - 1st cut. Lovely solid pressing as you would expect. A really well preserved original - not abused like so many other copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original stereo cover. There's also the original Emitex inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. For the vintage it looks really good. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation per side. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Given the vintage - very impressive. By and large a really nice player. Just expect a little light background in a couple of the fussiest tracks like Michelle. Nothing upfront or unpalatable.  Overall a great rendition and better than what typically surfaces.
Cover (Vg+) Difficult to find in really great condition - but this example is a cut above the average copy. Nice clean front with just one tiny patch of wear at bottom edge. The rear has avoided much of the usual fading - just some liht handling dirt.y. Flipbacks are all well preserved and there's little edge wear. The spine is 80% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Minimal ageing , and no splits.
