Description

The Beatles - Rubber Soul 2 Boxed EMI labels Rare 2 Flipback Sleeve UK LP

Item: Item: The Beatles - Rubber Soul 2 flipback sleeve PCS 3075 2 Boxed EMI labels UK LP. Hard to find 2 flipbacked sleeve issue which were only ever pressed for a couple of years in the early 1970's. The 2 flipback sleeve releases were only ever issued in Stereo as the Mono sound format was phased out by the early 70's. These releases use the same matrix codes like the 1960's pressings and have great sound quality.

Matrix Numbers: Side 1 YEX 178 - 3

Stamper Codes: 3 MP

                        Side 2 YEX 179 - 3

Stamper Codes: 2 RG

Record Weight: 141g

Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse with 2 Flipbacks to the rear and is front laminated sleeve.

Inner Sleeve: Plain white new inner sleeve original inner missing not that noticeable compared to the new inner which has no printing on at all.

Labels: 2 Box EMI Gramophone rims to both sides.

Detailed Descriptions

The Sleeve: EX Has some creases to the front and small mark (top right corner) where some sellotape has been.

Inner Sleeve: NM New inner sleeve.

The Labels: EX Has some spindle wear to both sides.

Record Visually Graded: EX+ Looks to be in fine condition.

Record Playback: NM Stunning crisp sound a pleasure to listen to and quiet. Perfectly flat no warpage, jumping, skipping or clicks.

Please note that the record has been professionally cleaned on a record cleaning machine with a non alcohol cleaning solution

I use the following grading system:

M=Mint: The record/sleeve is brand new condition. Just like when first pressed and the record will have no deterioration in sound quality. All items including lyric sheet poster etc are in perfect condition.

NM=Near Mint: The record or sleeve may just marginally be off new condition and have the odd minor flaw.

EX=Excellent: The record shows signs of being played, but there is hardly any lessening in sound quality. The cover might show signs of wear.

VG=Very Good: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Despite the odd occasional surface marks and the odd light scratch. The cover will shows signs of usage without any major defects.

G= Good: The record has been played numerous times and the sound quality has deteriorated and plays with distortion. The cover will have seam splits, scuffing of edges, discolouration and creases/ing.

F=Fair: The record has not been cared for properly and has loud surface noise but is still just playable. The sleeve will be torn, stained/defaced.

P=Poor: The record will not play properly due scratches and will have bad surface noise. The cover will be damaged and even have parts missing.

B=Bad: The record is unplayable possibly broken, which would only be considered as a collection filler.

I use a plus and minus signs +/-  to show if marginally better or worse condition.

Postage: UK/Europe = £8.15 Rest Of The World = £8.75

The item will be sent recorded delivery. I never send out any parcel I wouldn't be happy to receive myself! All records are removed from their sleeves and placed in a new poly lined inner sleeve then the record and sleeve are placed in a new plastic sealable sleeve for posting! I use a cruciform mailers which are very strong.

The item description is very detailed and I have listed the item to the best of my knowledge. Any Questions please ask.
