Description
The Beatles – Rubber Soul West Coast 1st Press. The colors on the Front Cover are the best I've ever seen, don't know how it was preserved like this, but there's simply no fading in the colors at all.
COVERS: Front cover has all its glossy and color from when it was released, really outstanding example of this classic, a minor tear on the back cover and some signs of a partial ring up top prevent a near MINT status (see pics) LABELS: Look near MINT. VINYL: Looks near MINT, All the original sheen remains intact. There are very few scuffs, mostly from removing it from the sleeve and back in. No scratches AUDIO: It plays without any jumps, skips or sticks, some surface noise on quiet passages and some little ticks here and there, but all the dynamics are still there, there's no worn-out audio at all. Sounds excellent. INLAY: It's in near MINT condition, and it's the original green olive company sleeve.

Label text differs from other T2442 Capitol releases (see, for instance The Beatles - Rubber Soul): Text below Capitol Dome reads "The Beatles" and on three lines: "RUBBER SOUL" [which is the same width as the logo] "JOHN LENNON, PAUL McCARTNEY" "GEORGE HARRISON and RINGO STARR"
White border around three sides of front cover; "File Under: The Beatles" and black dot before catalogue number at top right front. The * indicates Los Angeles pressing plant, and this release has a factory number "6" (Imperial Packing Co., Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana) printed directly below 'Robert' in the bottom right hand corner below the picture of John Lennon.
Sides on labels are referenced as '1' and '2'.
