       Here's an original USA Apple label pressing of The Beatles Again LP, issued in 1970


                                                                                     This pressing is the original pre-Hey Jude LP title version


It is the first pressing released in February of 1970. "The Beatles Again" is the title on the label, whereas "Hey Jude" is the title on the spine, also SW-385 is the catalogue no. on the spine (different to the catalogue no. on the labels).


This was due to a disagreement between Capitol and then Beatles manager Allen Klein. Matrices on both sides of disc say "Bell Sound." The cut "I Should Have Known Better" features a mistakenly mastered harmonica overdub in the 4th bar of the intro. Lennon appears to run a little short of breath. Portions of Lennon's double-tracked vocal also appear to be different from the final master. There are other odd aural differences, however slight, on other cuts on this LP.
