Beatles Please Please Me 1963 True 3rd Press Mono V2. IN/IN Gold sleeve. VG/VG+.

According to several sites - Discogs and The Beatles Collection to name but two - This is the rare 3rd press with second version labels . These labels were very short lived between the old Black & Gold 1st & 2nd press and the Black and Yellow 4th press, which had the ‘Recording First Published….’ Text.

Some estimate that about 5000 3rd press were made.

The original first issue ‘Gold’ sleeve is in at least VG condition, with minor wear to corners and fold backs. Most original sleeves are in poor condition but this one is very strong with fully intact and readable spine

Original Use Emitex inner in VG condition

Record has early 2AG/2RT stampers

Labels show signs of play but record surfaces very clean and shiny

Side one visually at least VG with only a few minor scuffs and hairlines. Side two visually VG+.

Sonically side one is Excellent with only very occasional light crackles between tracks. No clicks sticks skips or jumps.

Sonically side two is also excellent.

Therefore, a very early and rare version of an iconic piece of Pop and Rock history in super playing condition.
