Description
This is The Beatles debut album from 1963. It's a 1st press release on the original Dick James and Co Black and Gold Labels with 1N matrix.
The vinyl and labels are visually graded at VG+. The labels are pretty much unmarked apart from a scratch on side label 2 and the minimalist of fade in places. The vinyl has a few lines and light surface scratches but these are aesthetic only and don't cause any detriment to the listening experience. None are deep or feelable.
The vinyl plays superbly well in a boombastic mono tone that literally blows your speakers. There are no jumps, skips, pops, clicks etc throughout and only the faintest of crackling can be heard during the interludes between tracks. I've graded this at EX+/NM. It's fantastic!
The original Emitex inner bag is in EX condition with no rips, splits, or writing. Just some browning.
The outer original 1st press laminate cover is in fairly good condition. The frontal side is bright and clean as is the spine. The top and bottom edges are chaffed and slightly split in places. The back flipbacks are mostly there except for the bottom RH side which is missing and the bottom LH side which has come loose but is still there. The corners are bumped and worn.
