This is a genuine first press mono with the correct Black and Gold labels and the “Dick James Mus” credits
the condition of both vinyl and the cover is graded poor (please see photographs).
this copy will not play without skips and Is sold purely as an opportunity to own an iconic album but not as a copy to play. There is no inner sleeve.
I have previously displayed this in a frame as a collectors piece. Please consider this before bidding and hence no reserve price.
First pressing. March 22, 1963. The first pressing with black label with gold print and “Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print. “Dick James Mus. Co” uncorrect publishing credit for “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret” & “There’s A Place”. With or without tax code and with 33 1/3 on the label. Tax code variations: ZT, MT, ZMT. No Polythene-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
