Description
Here’s an original copy of this mysterious and mellow acid folk gem, which was recorded in London but released only in the US, and features contributions from Clem Cattini, Terry Cox (from Pentangle), Brian Odges (bassist on John McLaughlin's Extrapolation LP) and many others.
www.lysergia.com calls it 'a cross between British folk-rock and American psychedelia (with a strong Indian influence), and the most interesting and successful album by a folk-psych duo, male or female. It also rocks with conviction, and while it does contain two off-the-wall experiments it doesn’t lose its focus. More importantly, unlike virtually every late 60s/early 70s album by women, there’s not a song here with a bland or simplified arrangement... Even the two orchestrated ballads avoid the traps of mainstream pop, as the strings create an eerie atmosphere not far off from the sitars and effects elsewhere.'
Sleeve Condition
EX - thick gatefold is still smooth and shiny, let down only by a tiny punch-hole bottom right (see pic, if you can!). No writing, no splits, no bends, minimal creasing.
Vinyl Condition
EX - glossy, shiny and bright with minor marks and hairlines. Labels are also clean and bright.
