Rare opportunity to purchase a really top sounding audio of this The Beatles Please Please Me Dick James credit mono 1st press 1963 black and gold label LP with the original 1st variant sleeve and emitex poly lined bag.
The audio playback is of outstanding quality on both sides which is testament to how well cared for and how little this has been played in almost 60 years. Each track is as clear as a bell with NO issues!! EX+/NM
Visually, the vinyl shows signs of play with some superficial lines but nothing untoward or nasty VG+
The labels are spotless and like the day they were on release day. Look at the pics, beautiful!! EX+/NM
The original inner bag has slight discoloration due to age but remains in tact and has the poly liner inside.VG+
The 1ST press Angus McBean cover shows some wear on the front laminate and an area of scuffing and creasing. The sides are sound and the writing on the spine is fully legible. The rear is all there but unfortunately it has been taped by a previous owner. The bottom flip back where the tape is most prominent has lifted on the left and right edge but the Ernest j Day & Co is all there and legible.
