Hi and welcome to my auction for this BEATLES 4TH PRESS PLEASE PLEASE ME UK LP.
this fourth press copy of PPM on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -1N -1N Please note the labels are consistent with an early press from 1963 - there's no Sold In The UK. statement apparent.
This heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete. The inner bag has been taped and has writing on.
The Vinyl is in (VG+) In good shape and has clearly been used, Under close inspection there are marks/ needle slips etc...marks - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals VG+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens do have static and some dust pops but a good clean will clear this!! the audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference, appart from static and dust pops!! All i detected was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks - nothing remotely invasive. Playback is punchy and sharp, a nice copy with great sound!!
FRONT COVER:
(Vg) In good shape has corner bumps and some art work missing from bottom right corner!
REAR COVER:
has aged in some sectors, but fairs much better than many examples. Edge wear is HARD and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
There IS an amount of damage to the top and bottom flipbacks, but other than that they are all in place and well secured. The spine is intact and legible, has corner damage.
INNER BAG: Emitex (G) Light ageing - no splits, has been taped all round and has writing to it.
