THE BEATLES - 'PAPERBACK WRITER'/'RAIN'
This NEAR MINT UK 1st pressing dates from the disc's initial June 1966 release on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5452
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Papaerback Writer label & in both run-outs
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18380-2 & 7XCE 18381-2
Stamper codes: 2/HD & 2/PR
Housed within its original green/white Parlophone company sleeve

No spindle trails around either totally unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines visible beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Incredible & unworn sound quality both sides with a bass response which has never been equalled. Apart from a few light ticks at the end of the the fade-out of 'Paperback Writer', this is flawless sounding copy.

Flat & uncreased with some toning to the upper edge.
