Description
The Beatles - Meet The Beatles - 1964 Mono LP - T 2047 Capitol.
One of the nicer covers I've come across. Usually the seams are beat up and discolored on Beatles records from this era. These seams are very solid. There is some shelf wear and ring wear on the front and back cover, but still coming in at VG+.
Vinyl has plenty of scuffing and light scratches. Listened to it all the way through and there are some crackles, but still a very playable copy. VG.
I believe this would be considered the Scranton Pressing, 3rd Variation, No Producer Credit.
- Black rainbow label without "subsidiary" text.
- LP housed in blue company catalog inner sleeve.
- The Beatles picture on the front sleeve tinted blue.
- "Beatles" in brown.
- No producer credits on the rear sleeve.
- 3rd label variation: Side A credits the first two tracks to BMI with the remaining cuts to ASCAP. Side B credits all songs to ASCAP, except for track 5 "I Wanna Be Your Man" which is credited to BMI (see The Beatles - Meet The Beatles! for variant)
