THE BEATLES - 'LOVE ME DO'/'P.S. LOVE YOU'
This an early UK 1962 1st pressing of their debut 45 which has been signed by George Harrison.
The signature in black ball-point pen is located on the centre piece of the 'Love Me Do' label, a position favoured by George when signing these 45s. The signature was acquired by a fan in Liverpool in 1962 and is fully guaranteed by us to be 100% genuine.
The disc itself is an early 1st pressing on the red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
Both labels include the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text, with a 'WOZT' purchase tax code on the 'P.S. I Love You' label & 'ZT' in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper codes: 1/P & 1/G (earliest stamper code for 'P.S. I Love You')
The disc is housed within its coloured diamonds Parlophone company cover.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
As you can see, both labels are clean & bright and the signature is clean, clear & unworn.
There are a few lines of ink on the 'P.S. I Love You' label which may have been made by George as he tested the pen.
Disc: VERY GOOD +
This well-looked after disc retains clean & glossy playing surfaces which bear a few light surface marks consistent with careful play, but nothing I would call a scratch. Both sides play through without any major deterioration to the sound quality. My play-check detected some light background throughout but no clicks, pops, jumps or any other such fault.
