This early 1st pressing of their debut UK 45 dates from October 1962 release on the red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949

Genuine Factory Sample & 'PT' purchase tax stickers are adhered to the 'P.S. I Love You' label

  A 'ZT' purchase tax code is stamped into both run-outs


Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N

Stamper codes: 1/G & 1/M (earliest possible stamper for 'Love Me Do')

Housed within an original 'beach-striped' Parlophone company sleeve

Both are clean and free from any writing or missing paper. There are a small number of light spindle trails on each but little else of note.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces without any significant surface marks or wear.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

This fine sounding copy plays with a hint of low-level vinyl background, but nothing which spoils the quality or enjoyment
