THE RAREST SILVER ON THE BLACK VEE-JAY

RECORDS LABELS WITH THE SMALL BRACKETS LOGO

THE BEATLES ~ INTRODUCING THE BEATLES

VERY RARE HEAVY VINYL PRESSING WITH THE
MACHINE STAMPED "AUDIOMATRIX" IN THE RUNOUT

? ? ?

Introducing the Beatles Version 2 with the very rare Vee-Jay Records black labels having the small "VJ Vee-Jay Records" brackets logo. Cardboard title on the back Version 2 with Please Please Me with a comma pasteover Mono cover in an original distributor "Hi-Fi" baggy. The cover is graded as Excellent having some light corner wear, but without any ring wear, splits or writing. A pair of stapler holes in the upper left-hand corner in the cover and baggy. The baggy is in great condition with only a slight horizontal tear at the top left corner. Misprint Vee-Jay black labels include "Coffin-King" instead of "Goffin-King" and catalog number VJLP-1062. The vinyl pressed at the Southern Plastics Pressing Plant in Nashville, Tennessee has the "URJ" stamp. Very heavy "plate" vinyl which rarely ever comes across as it weighs more than 200g and resembles the Prestige pressings of the 50s. The vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus with some light marks, hairlines and scuffs from the original red Vee-Jay paper inner sleeve which comes with the album. The vinyl plays great without having any skips or pops and with just some light background noise during the quiet passages which is most likely the static and will go away if the record is properly cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. The labels are graded as Excellent Minus having a few light spindle marks.
