We  have  taken  a  hard  look  at  many  of  our  listings   with  respect  to  reviewing  previously  posted  prices.   In  some  cases,  we  felt  they  did  NOT  accurately  reflect  today's  real  market  values   considering  factors  such  as    SCARCITY,  RARITY,  CONDITION   and  the  LATEST  PRICE  GUIDES.

Beatles LP "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" - Vee Jay Records (Version 2) - LP-1062.  Extremely Rare SILVER OVAL ALL BLACK LABEL Variation!  Outer Jacket still in SHRINK WRAP!  This is NOT A BOOTLEG! 
YOU HARDLY EVER SEE THIS LABEL!  This was a 1st Pressing of this VERSION 2 very often Bootlegged LP.  This lists PLEASE, PLEASE ME and ASK ME WHY instead of the Version 1 variation which originally listed LOVE ME DO and P.S. I LOVE YOU.  It has one of the RAREST VEE JAY Label combinations of a SILVER VEE JAY OVAL on an ALL BLACK LABEL with NO RAINBOW color ring.
The Vinyl has some very minor surface issues but nothing in the way of any actual concerns. There are slight scuffs / scratches that appear to be paper slide issues. The outer jacket has virtually NO ISSUES to speak of since it is still in the original SHRINK WRAP.  No splitting, No Writing, No Stains, Spine completely in tact and surprisingly no real ring wear for this jacket - EXCELLENT!  Also passes the "HONEY" test ("H" and "E" in the word HONEY in the song title on the back of the outer jacket "A TASTE OF HONEY" are fully inked).  For a record issued in early 1964, this one is quite nice and one of the best we have seen in recent years!  If you looking for a VERSION 2 in great shape, this would be the one to purchase.
You will be hard pressed to find one of these with the RARE OVAL label very often and NEVER in this condition.    Extremely RARE, quite collectible and valuable to any BEATLES collector!
