Description
I am offering this genuine UK first issue first pressing of the 1965 UK 14 track LP. Please check the following details and description so you are absolutely sure what I am offering. I have tried to be as honest and accurate as I can and please bear in mind that this item is just about 50 years old. Probably initially had a hard life but I am sure has not seen a turntable for over 40 years until today when I checked it out after a good clean. I am sure after a more thorough clean than I can give it the quality will be improved.

Original first pressing Catalogue No: PMC1255 Mono Yellow/Black labels "Sold In The UK" and "The Gramophone Co Ltd" on the label Laminated front sleeve with rounded rear flip backs "Printed by Garrod & Co" and "Patents pending" printing 6509 tax reference XEX 549-2 and XEX 550-2 matrixes on run off
Description:
Generally the cover is VG at best, not many scuffs around the outside and the spine is very good. There is some crease damage to the bottom right corner (see photo). The rear of the sleeve is slightly discoloured but nothing too bad. The vinyl shows some very light surface marks under close scrutiny but no scratches. I have played the whole album on a reasonable turntable and although it plays really nicely with no crackles on side 1 and just a touch between tracks on side 2. Best I have heard for a while on a record this old! I would rate it almost EX. Would be hard to find a better copy.
OK bearing in mind the rarity, age and the condition I am not going to be asking the inflated price that dealers and a lot of other sellers quote. I want to be absolutely fair and price it according to how I see it. And I am open to offers as near as possible to the asking price. Postage & packing is £3.50 within the UK sent first class. PLEASE NOTE: I am offering a slightly worse copy of this item so check it out. It has a VG sleeve and plays with crackles heard between tracks. This is reflected in the price.
