This scarce UK MONO pressing dates from late-summer 1969 on the final incarnation of the yellow & black Parophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK...' text
1st pressing matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 9/MDT & 1,8/ATA
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed within a correct, thinner card front laminated, trip-flipback, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover
Complete with original red/white EMI advertising inner-sleeve

An immaculate pair, with just two or three faint spindle trails each totally unworn centre hole
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Super-clean playing surfaces which bear no significant surface marks or wear in strong daylight. The only artifacts visible beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp are a few harmless light marks consistent with inner-sleeve removal. Tough to find in any condition.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This wonderful sounding copy has been played just once or twice on high-end equipment and plays flawlessly throughout with no trace of any audible faults or wear.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean, strong and unworn example of this easily blemished cover which retains a bright white, unyellowed front panel where the only sign of wear to its high-gloss laminate are a few small spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails'. There is some shelfwear bruising to the corners but both opening edges are undamaged. The rear panel is bright white and unblemished - free from any marks, writing or missing paper.
Both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed & unworn
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean, white and flat with no writing, tears or seam splits
