Ultra Rare UK 1st Pressing / Transitional release of this classic 1972 double album. This set is complete with box type gatefold cover, heavy carded inner sleeves, 12 postcards ( still joined in a strip ) and  stunning barely played , immaculate vinyls which both carry the yellow rolling stones record labels.

The reason i believe it to be a transitional pressing is because side 1 carries the correct 1st pressing matrix numbers along with the ' rolling stones records  st- ......'  scribed in side 1 & 2 and also the 2 circle logos with inverted triangle !  But sides 3 & 4 only have the stamped matrix numbers , there are some sribed lettering but i think it's only intials ?  Anyway  i know this was bought in the summer of 1972 and it was only released in May !  so i have no doubt this is an original transitional example.

Top example of this barely played rarity ! FINAL UP- GRADE VINYLS !!!

Sleeve condition: EX (Super clean example with just some very light wear to the spine ends and a small tear comimg out from back corner / spine otherwise a very nice example .

Vinyl condition: Visualy Mint-/Mint-/EX+ / EX+ ( Sides 1,2 arte immaculate , sides 3 ,4 have a couple super fine wispy paper sleeve remval marks only visable when viewed under strong light up close , otherwise all sides look like they have just been pressed ! stunning glass like playing surfaces , impossible like this !!!)

Audibly  Mint- ( All tracks play through with sharp and clear audio with stunning separation and just a hint of static inbetween tracks, amazing sound considering the recording locations ! Final Up-Grade )

Label condition: EX+ to Mint- (no writing or stains present on any label and just one or two spindle marks, super clean examples )

Inners condition: Mint- ( Original issued heavy card inner sleeves are in very clean and solid condition)

Postcards condition: EX ( Original issued set of 12 postcards still in a strip and just a little feathering on some edges but no stains, writing or rips  )
