You are bidding for a 1965 unofficial release of The Beatles, which is a collection of hits all in mono.
As can be seen from the cover, there is no mention of The Beatles anywhere, and the reverse side is all in Russian. Nobody wanted to be caught with western propoganda music that may cause disbelief in the Russian GDR state. This is a real piece of history and you can imagine youngsters in 1965 actually frightened to be caught with this album.
The vinyl is in superb, virtually MINT condition without any marks, rubs or scratches, and includes George Harrisons very early instrumental 'Cry for a Shadow' and a Tony Sheridan song 'Why'
The label is pristine without any spindle marks whatsoever.
