Description

An original 1st press of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N - very 1st cut. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+/Ex-) In great condition despite having seen a fair bit of use. Do expect a good few marks either side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. If you're someone who needs a pristine looking piece of vinyl - sorry this one, perhaps, is not for you. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a varying level of playback - between VERYGOOD+ AND NEAR EXCELLENT... with one deviation. By and large playback is very nice - it plays clean for many tracks. Some play better than others. A few crackles in the intro to "Eight Days", but then very nice! And there's only one track I found slightly disappointing... 'Follow The Sun' exhibits a bit of crackle..nothing epic..it's just not as clean as the rest. A reasonably priced true 1st press...certainly worthy of consideration.
Cover (Ex-) A beautiful looking cover and believe me finding BFS looking anywhere near "EX" is a bit of a task in itself. Lovely clean looking front without the usual creasing - just one in the top-right and bottom-right. The rear is borderline immaculate - and this actually quite difficult to find like that. The interior is fine - no issues. Edge wear really is very light for this title and the opening cover page still retains a bit of firmness/sharpness. The spine is 100% intact - this is extremely hard to find...it usually exhibits problems on nearly all copies. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
