Description

An original 1st mono press of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N - very 1st cut. Please note the labels mention 'recording 1st pub' and 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text - all of which is indicative of 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve too. So,100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAREXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect was a touch of lightest static in a couple of brief spots per side. By and large a very sweet player with little to complain at.
Cover (Vg+) A difficult cover to find in top condition, but this example acquits itself well. A relatively clean front with some creasing over toward the opening. The rear looks great too with just a couple of thumbnail creases in the bottom left corner. The interior looks fine with no significant issues. Edge wear is relatively light for this title and the spine looks great. It has folded over as many tend to do, but it's not overly worn and the text is legible. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Not too bad at all. Light ageing. Bottom edge has split..and has been taped up.
