It’s hard to overestimate the value and rarity of this “BEATLES SPECIAL” issue. Just think about it, your collection will have only one of only 18 copies ever pressed in the world! And this is the absolutely authentic and accurate information received from the engineer who worked on this recording at the American Forces Radio and Television Service. The 4 LPs feature an 8-hour legendary “The Beatles” special show where throughout several hours the legendary American radio DJ, producer and the owner of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Bob Eubanks tells the full story of The Beatles, from Beatlemania to their split. Bob Eubanks is the man who made a major contribution to the popularization of The Beatles music and hosting this show he knows what he is talking about as he is a direct participant of some of the covered events. It’s really worth mentioning the part when he put his house at risk to get a loan from the bank in order to help The Beatles in the beginning of their career by producing the concerts at Hollywood Bowl on August 23rd, 1964 and August 29-30, 1965. These 4 LPs are a gem where you’ll hear The Beatles’ full story featuring not only the interviews with the band members but also a major part of their hits. As Bob Eubanks says at the end of the program, the creators of this Beatles Special Radio show truly hope that it’s informative for the people who didn’t experience Beatlemania themselves, and to those who experienced it firsthand, the creators are thankful for sharing the music and memory of the Beatles with them. All of the 4 LPs have barely been played and they contain the unique special DJ white AFRTS labels indicating the “side”, timing, “hour”, and part number. Original “U.S. Government. For Use On Authorized AFRT Outlets Only” labels with the US Ministry of Defense logo on the left side and AFRTS logo on the right. This 4LP “BEATLES SPECIAL” has never been available in the retail and couldn’t be acquired at any record store. As a bonus to this 4LP DJ Set, we’ve included a very rare 3rd Edition (1961) of the “Armed Forced Radio and Television Broadcast Guide” book which was a property of Veterans Foundation Museum / Library Cape Coral Florida as identified by the rubber stamp on Page 3. The runout grooves of the vinyl have the detailed handwritten information, some of which repeats the text indicated on the labels. The full matrix numbers are as follows:
