Spring "Spring" Original Stereo LP (United Artists Records UAS-5571) (1972) (USA) ...This auction is for an original issue surf rock record. The vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine. The records we are listing are from the KRLA, KMET libraries (Los Angeles) and were owned by Jim Pewter (an infamous American radio DJ, songwriter and producer).   This album features Marilyn Wilson-Rovell and Diane Rovell, who were the Rovell Sisters and The Honeys, and is produced by Marilyn's husband, Brian Wilson. Not as orchestrated as The Beach Boys' thick harmonies and the wall of Spector-ized sound, this is more like Brian Wilson emulating Spector's work with the Teddy Bears, light and airy with the ladies' voices very present and in control.
  The original issue Record and Cover are in nice (Very Good to Very Good+) condition [cover and vinyl show some wear / record plays well and sounds nice (play graded-very minimal occasional surface noise between some tracks-no notable clicks or pops) / cover has seam wear (no tape) / includes a plastic outer sleeve].
