Dale Menton was involved in several Mankato and Minneapolis-based sixties bands including The Gestures, The Best Things and The Madhatters. He was the writer and architect of this rock concept album, which was recorded in Chicago, although the artists responsible for it were mostly from Minneapolis. Craswell was earlier with The Castaways and later played for the Chicago band Crow, who moved to Minnesota. Pedalty was a session man and Greg Maland one of Minnesota's best keyboard players.

Greg Maland is perhaps best remembered as Gregory Dee (of Gregory Dee and The Avanties fame). He was also in the Castaways with Libby and Craswell, from 1966 until 1969.
