Description
BEATLES "YESTERDAY AND TODAY" 2nd STATE BUTCHER COVER - MONO - 1966
The front cover is clean has retained its sheen (as seen in photos using camera flash). There are no seam-splits, the spine is clean and in great condition. There is a small 1/4" peel in lower right corner (presumably someone was checking to see if the butcher cover was underneath!) See photos for detail shots. There are the telltale signs that this particular album was a first-pressing manufactured at the Capitol Records Pressing Plant in Los Angeles. The * stamp in the runouts is an indicator as well as the black labels with rainbow color-band and "MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS, INC." without subsidiary note in rimtext. Side 1's runout reads T-1-2553-F-23 *. Side 2's reads T-2-2553-G-20 *. On the lower right side of the back cover is a RIAA logo with the number 6 just to the left. This also indicates that this mono album was pressed at the L.A. plant.
