THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This NEAR MINT minus UK 1st MONO pressing of their debut LP is from March 1963 release on the black/gold Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both sides have 1st variant labels with the 'Dick James Mus.' publishing credits for tracks 1 & 2 on side 1 and 4 & 6 on side 2
An 'MT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N XEX 422-1N
Early stamper codes: 1/H 1 2/GP
Vinyl weight: 158g
Housed a correct 1st edition front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover, with 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right corner
Complete with its original and correct poly-lined inner-sleeve

A flawless set with 100% gold print on both labels and NO spindle marks or wear on either
Visual: NEAR MINT MINUS
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight ,with no scuffs, scratches or visual wear of any kind. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only a small number of very faint wispy sleeve removal signs from the inner-sleeve and two barely visible marks on side one track 1 and 2 , wich not affect playability. If not this two barely visible marks , it will be clear NM vinyl record copy.
Sound Quality: Excellent
This copy has clearly been barely payed and sounds 100% flawless throughout. The mono will never replace the incredible sound on this amazing treasure.
Cover: Very Good plus
Very good plus example of this delicate cover which has been carefully stored in a clean, non-smoking environment for 63 years.
The front panel is clean, glossy with just the lightest touch of storage, some creasing on the top and bootom sides
There is are tiny shelfwear rubs on the corners .
The exposed rear panel is with hand use marks and light ring wier and pen mark on left side
The spine is in perfect condition along its entire length
Inner-sleeve: Very Good condition
Little yellowed with a few gentle storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
I can confirm that this copy has had only one owner besides me.
