This lovely 1st pressing produces a huge mono sound and carries an earliest possible side one 1G stamper on a 3/4 disc
First issues carried 3/3 matrix endings, which you think would have used up the limited 1G code long before the change to the side two 4
1964 - Mono 1st pressing PMC 1240 XEX 503-3 / 504-4 1-G / 1-RM

Visually:
Graded against reflected daylight which will show any significant imperfections - (there will always be wispy handling/bag removal lines under a search light)
VG
This disc displays quite a few handling lines both sides - they vary from wispy to some more noticeable but none are feelable

Audio:
VG+
An unexpected performance - huge and clear mono sound with lots of echo, found on this Beatles album - the run ins are largely very quiet with just a touch of background noise - every track plays without any pops or clicks - there is just one pop on the run in to track 3, side 2 which is not on the track itself - this album sounds as good as most originals out there - hard to find a mono original, free from loud pops, clicks, skips or repeats

Near perfect - no writing or sticker residue - expected spindle trials but nothing too heavy

Cover:
VG Always difficult to find a perfect original with its flimsy, hinged front panel - the spine is perfectly intact, with no rubbing - this original has the missing information box under the catalogue number, later added - overall, a decent, clean example - the photos show condition

Inner sleeve:

Original, correct, rice paper lined - remarkable condition for this fragile item - near perfect - no splits

All records are thoroughly cleaned and I will of course, continue with the surreal requirement of separating the disc from the cover, even though they have been together now for over 50 years and have left a lasting impression :-)
