Description

The American New wave band, released their self-titled debut album, “The B-52’s”, on July 6, 1979. This album is a delightful blend of kitschy lyrics, infectious hooks, and a party atmosphere. Critics praised the album’s quirky lyrics and danceable rhythms. It celebrated all the silliest aspects of pre-Beatles pop culture, blending elements of pop, surf, avant-garde, amateurish punk, and white funk.


Rolling Stone magazine placed the album at number 152 on their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.


The album cover shows a little wear, but the inner sleeve is in excellent condition.
