Test Pressing – FURTWANGLER / VIENNA P.O. – BRAHMS: SYMPHONY No.2
2 single-sided HMV white label test pressings made in England – no indication of catalogue number. Label states "Vienna 28.1.45" and what appears to be a pressing date of 30.5.58 (see photos). Matrix Nos. 2XVH 80-1N / 2XVH 81-1N. Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Symphony No.2 by Brahms.
The discs have an unplayed appearance; we have not played them.
