Test Pressing – FURTWANGLER / BERLIN P.O. – BRAHMS: SYMPHONY No.4
2 single-sided HMV white label test pressings made in England – no indication of catalogue number (see photos). Matrix Nos. 2XRA 42-3N / 2XRA 43-2N. The original (scruffy) inner is date stamped 26 NOV 1958. Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in Symphony No.4 by Brahms.
The discs have an unplayed appearance; we have not played them.
