Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Teddy Charles 'New Direction Quartet' 10" LP on Prestige Records PRLP 178. Other musicians include Bobby Brookmeyer, Teddy Kotick, and Ed Shaughnessy.
Record info:
It visually looks VG+ but plays with a moderate amount of surface noise so I have downgraded it to VG. It still sounds good though!
Cover info:
VG+ with mostly solid seams but it does have two areas of splitting on spine. The front cover has a library style #d sticker on top left corner. The back cover has a sticker with the name of the previous owner on upper left corner.
Label / Pressing info:
Original deep groove mono press.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
