Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / Near excellent Condition " grade for a lot of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . I never use a " Mint " or " Near Mint " grade . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is also why i do often go into more detail than most with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use the " Excellent Condition " grade , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest whispy type hairlines only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality being used etc , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

Tears For Fears The Seeds Of Love LP MEGA RARE 1989 2 x SINGLE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS Pro Cleaned . I believe this is the Fontana UK catalogue number , the matrix numbers are 8387301 A-1U-1- TEARS FOR FEARS - A MASTERDISK DMM / 8387301 B-3U-1-1TEARS FOR FEARS B3 MASTERDISK DMM . A very rare find here ! , i couldn't find any available and just found one that sold on Discogs on 1st Jan 2022 for £167.99p and that was just for the one A side record ! . I have copied the track listings below from the Discogs site , taken for the UK Fontana issue :

COVER: New plain white single thick card cover on each record , i will also be putting each record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve .

INNER SLEEVES: The records came with two solid ( not die cut ) off white paper inner sleeves when i got them . These are in good condition overall , i kept these as there is writing on the one top corner on each sleeve stating the catalogue numbers and an inked date stamp , the one also says T/F/F SOWING DMM , so i am assuming that these could be the originals , mainly because of the inked date stamps which appear to coincide with the release dates . there is some age related foxing , some light denting etc and the usual ring wear marks present on both sleeves , there is a small clear sellotape repair on the centre sections on both sides of the one sleeve , there are just a very very very few very light and small marks in places including one small removed sticker mark on one side of one of the sleeves . 

LABELS: Blank paper labels generally in near excellent condition , one is an off white colour and the other is a light creamy yellow in colour , both are still very nice and clean with just a tiny bit of black showing on the one off white label and a larger bit on the one creamy yellow label , it is on the slightly raised circle edge that goes round near to the spindle hole , this though is just a slight printing defect and not caused through any neglect etc , there are just a very very few usual but very light and small spindle marks , both labels are writing free .

RECORDS: The overall visual grade of the playing surface on both records under normal average household light conditions is a strong near excellent overall condition , some may say airing a bit closer to the excellent side overall with just a very very few mostly very very light and very small non feelable ( one slightly more visible but none feelable line mark ) surface marks and just a very very very few usual but extremely light and very fine mainly just whispy type hairlines and sleeve removals , there is some often seen manufacturers " dulling / marbling " present mainly on S1 , there are no nasty gouges / nasty scratches whatsoever , i will also say that a lot of these very very few finer hairlines and actually a couple of the very light surface marks are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise with a bit of crackle . It plays pretty much near excellent overall , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , i say pretty much as i just heard a very faint bit of background vinyl static type noise on the quieter intro and first part of T1 and with one isolated very light pop / tick , but this vinyl static type noise really was very light indeed , there were also i think two ort three very light pops when the music had faded to next to nothing right at the very end of T3 and another i think two or three louder ones but on the silent track changeover line from T3 to T4 , though i did look and i couldn't see anything obvious that would have caused this , obviously these on the silent track changeover were louder , there was one isolated light tick right at the very end of T4 and a very brief light " sch " type noise right at the very end of this track , literally as the music fades off to next to nothing and this also went onto the silent run off , there was no nasty loud continuous crackle present , there may just have been the odd very faint isolated pop that i may have missed , but i think i've covered everything , there was some noise present on all of the silent track changeover lines . Silent run off has some noise present . This side on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally quite light noise with some crackle . It plays mostly near excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really not a great deal in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , i just heard some brief bits of faint crackle on the intro and first part of T1 then some very occasional very brief bits in other quieter parts of T1 , but this was overall very very light indeed , there was some static type crackle and some pops on the intro and very start of T2 , mainly on the intro and there was some static crackle and odd pop on the very quieter intro of T4 then just very occasional and mainly very faint only , also with a brief bit of slightly louder but still light only right at the very end , there was some noise present an most of the silent track changeover lines , there may just have been the odd faint isolated pop in that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally quite light noise with a bit of crackle . This side on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

** I have read quite a few reviews on this LP and a lot of people say that it is a very poor recording with lots of noise present , even some saying there were jumps even from new , but i must admit , i found the clarity and the tones brilliant , yes there was a bit of static crackle on some quieter parts and some light pops , but this is only to be expected on a test pressing and obviously older 80's record ** .

There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and both records still retain a very nice shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .

All in all a nice example of this now very rare and highly collectable item . I have started this one off at what i think is a very keen £149.99p , considering the rarity , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees . Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear .
