Tarbaby

"February" Vinyl LP

Rare 1972 album from Florida panhandle band. Recording information: Warehouse Studios, Jacksonville, FL (1973). Personnel: Pat Muth (vocals, guitar, harmonica); Brewster Banks (vocals, piano); Wally Knoelke (trumpet, drums, percussion). Packaged in a plain white sleeve with a sticker in the upper corner. Label is New South Recordings (NR 4500). Don't know anything about the band - the sound is pretty straight-forward Blues Boogie -- though someone else described it as 'Garagey folk rock with some fuzz guitar'.

Other copies I've seen of this on the 'net shows a jacket with a white background and a large 'target' design -- this copy on auction here may have been a promo as the jacket has the sticker mentioned above and the record labels are white.

CONDITION -
Jacket: VG+ with some scuffing and dirt. Top seam has a couple of dings and the bottom seam is split in the center for a couple of inches.
Vinyl: EX+ with a little very light sleevewear. Vinyl is bright, clean, and glossy! On playback, sound is strong and clean -- really nice! TRACKS - SEE PICS BELOW
