Description

A 1st pressing of Stratosfear from 1976 on the UK Two Virgins label. Matrix A2/B2. The vinyl comes housed in an original thick card heavy-laminated cover.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. And anything else other than this is simply going to interfere with the audio which is often soft and low-key. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of static during the intro to Side 1 and then a very clean rendition. It's not perfect, but this is a very well preserved low-mileage copy. And this really allows you to fully appreciate the ambience on offer. 
Cover (Ex) Absolutely stunning condition and might grade higher, but for a couple of tiny marks here and there. Perfectly shiny front and back with no creasing. The thing that really stands out on this copy is the rigidity of the gatefold - it feels like it is brand new. Also helped, no doubt, by the fact this the thick-card 1st issue cover. There's one or two light marks in the interior, but very little else to fault. The spine is 100% intact too.
