Description

An original 1st press of Slider on the UK EMI label. Matrix A1/B1-A2/B2 [dual matrix of 1st press]. Stampers 1-RG/3-CL. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original non-laminated cover. Also included is the original Red EMI inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - noting remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of static in a couple of tracks either side. This is infrequent and very minor, and not remotely invasive. A great rendition of this BOLAN Classic.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. This non-laminated title is difficult to find in condition like this - usually they;re showing a good bit of ageing and alot of wear. This copy has survived the years in surprisingly good form. Just some light handling wear and the odd crease. It seem to have almost totally escaped the ageing process which is good to see. Edge wear is light, but for a 1c.m. wear-through in the middle of the top-edge. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity and is a very fine specimen.
Inner (Ex+) In fantastic condition. No markings or wear. No side splits. Perfect!
