THELONIOUS MONK QUINTET BLOWS FOR LP
with Sonny Rollins
Julius Watkins (frh) Sonny Rollins (ts) Thelonious Monk (p) Percy Heath (b) Willie Jones (d) NYC, November 13, 1953 Original Prestige 10 inch 33&1/3 DEEP GROOVE MONO Lp from 1953, blue and silver label, #prLP 166.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition, some very light marks, but very little noticable surface noise, just a hint of background static, a great sounding pressing!
The cover has light ringwear front and back, and there's yellowing to the edges all around, hard to see in the pictures, it's darker than the photos appear. The bottom seam is completely split, but the other seams are fine. VG+ (see pictures for more details).
