THE MONO EDITION OF THIS MASTERPIECE SIMPLY NEVER TURNS UP!!! I'D SAY THAT IT'S OUTNUMBERED BY THE STEREO EDITION BY ABOUT 10 TO 1!!! THIS ONLY HAD AN ABSOLUTE MINISCULE PRESSING IN MONO JUST TO COVER A TINY AMOUNT OF PRE-ORDERS, THEN WHEN "TIME OF THE SEASON" STARTED TO HIT IN 1969 AFTER THE BAND SPLIT, CBS KEPT THE STEREO VERSION AVAILABLE FOR ORDER FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER, AND AS YOU KNOW, EVEN THE STEREO EDITION IS INCREDIBLY RARE TOO!!! THE MONO HOWEVER, IS RIDICULOUSLY HARD TO FIND!!! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION VINYL, THE SOUND IS OUTSTANDING!!!

If you've never heard the mono mix of this classic, prepare yourself for a real treat!!! It's COMPLETELY different to the stereo - it's like hearing this masterpiece for the first time all over again!!! It's a totally different mix - much of it is a little less dryer, purer sounding that the stereo mix, REALLY bringing to the fore just what PHENOMENAL musicians this magical band truly were!!! You've just GOT to hear it!!!

This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! Classic UK rough textured orange CBS 1st Press labels!!!. Both sides are OUTSTANDING with NO real signs of age, NO graffiti, and NO writing OR tears whatsoever!!! Just has a TINY amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has barely had much play at all!!! IMPOSSIBLE for a 42 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Excellent!!!

Record : Visual - 

Spectacular Original 1968 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks INCREDIBLE with NO nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! no wispy sleeve traces, and two  light hairlines surface marks  (only visible in strong angled light) Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes interfere with play AT ALL!!! PHENOMENAL for a record of this age and rarity!!! AWESOME condition - you'll be amazed by how generally clean and unworn it is!!! Must grade overall at the least as Very Good++++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)   Record :

 Audio -    Thankfully, it plays AMAZINGLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! In fact, the ONLY thing that stops me grading this even higher is literally just 1 0r 2 low level isolated pops  which are hardly noticable, it really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, clicks, OR sticks!!! Only like nearly ALL records has the MEREST TOUCH of low level static in the rarest few and far between places such as on the run in grooves and between some tracks, but that's about it!!! The vast, vast, majority of the music is TRULY crystal clear - It really does mostly play with a CD-like near black silence, but with that depth, bass, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! EVEN the vast majority of the quiet sections!!! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably at least as Excellent!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)  

 Sleeve : 

Original UK 1st press front laminated "E.J Day" CBS sleeve complete with original advertisement inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO graffiti, NO seam splits OR edge rubbing, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few MEGA light signs of ageing such as just a miniscule amount of ultra light creases, no  signs if ageing to the unlaminated back ,one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! An OUTSTANDING sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as amazing as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! This is EASILY one of the very best i've EVER seen!!! You simply won't believe that this is over four whole decades old!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, undulled, unsplit and unspoilt, and AMAZINGLY even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit, and 100% readable!!! PHENOMENAL for this sleeve!!! Must grade overall at the least as Excellent minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
