The vinyl is flat shiny and looks almost perfect. I played it this morning and it sounds even better. This is not one of the typically scratched and beaten records of this era.
The sleeve has no unwanted marking on it at all and it even has the very rare 'STEREO' label in gold on the back (see the pictures). The back is clean and all the artwork is sharp and clear. The original inner white sleeve is present and although in very good condition, time has yellowed the paper a little.

If you are looking at this auction I'm sure you will know all about it's history and the impact it had in 1968. My wife purchased this record new in her youth and it has hardly been played since. The cover is very good and the vinyl looks amazing for a record of it's age. The sleeve is in good condition, (see below) the artwork is bold and sharp, small scuffing to the edges (spine very slightly scuffed), only very very small scuffs at the corners. I very much doubt that you will find a better example.
Please see the pictures or ask for more if you at all unsure.
Condition:-
Record: Excellent / near mint
Outer Cover: Excellent +++ Some very small scuffs on the corners. .
I am not a record dealer, I am selling part of an extensive collection of interesting and rare vinyl collected during my youth. I will be adding many more very rare vinyl LP's over the next weeks.
Identifying each recording is not easy, but I have tried to be as accurate as I can be. Please forgive any mistakes and please let me know if I get anything wrong.
I will try my best to correct any errors.
I have more pictures, if you would like any more please let me know.
I now apply the Ebay ‘4-day’ rule for non-payment.
Please note and take in consideration that vinyl records although perfectly playable do not have the same quality sound as today’s modern CDs, they tend to have a much richer sound, but there is inevitably someback ground 'noise'
All my records are of good playable quality but should be properly cleaned before playing.
You should bare in mind that these vinyl records are many years old and will thus not be in pristine condition, they were not produced yesterday.

MINT:The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks ordeterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such asthe lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Recordsadvertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT:The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deteriorationin sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even bebroken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
I have just listened to this record again played through some decent equipment and it sounds awesome, absolutely no hissing, crackles, buzzes or any other unwanted sounds. The sound is crystal clear and sharp, not even much noise between the tracks, this is the area where you will hear any 'noise' if there is any. Every sound is clear and sharp and the track separation is excellent. You will be very lucky to find a better sounding vinyl of the recording.
