 Tribute to Spud Nathan

First album by this Nigerian soul/funk/psych rock band after their lead singer died in 1974. Apparently the group split up and this part, the Original Wings International, released this album to much critical acclaim.
Interestingly this pressing is all the way from Kenya (East Africa), where the Wings also released a 7-inch on Suzumi, the same label that also released two singles by Geraldo Pindo.

This album is a great work which effortlessly mixes psychedelic soul, funk, rock and a little afrobeat. A bit in the vein of Monomono, Apostles, the Doves etc.
